Hyderabd  ( Journalist File ) : YSR Congress Party leader and former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao's wife, Lakshmi Parvathi, has alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is behind the arrest of popular actor Allu Arjun. Speaking about the incident, she questioned why Naidu had not been arrested despite previous instances of stampedes occurring under his watch.

The controversy stems from a stampede that occurred on December 4th during a benefit show for the movie Pushpa-2 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. Allu Arjun, along with his family and actress Rashmika Mandanna, attended the event. Tragically, a woman lost her life in the stampede, and her son was severely injured. Following the incident, police registered a case and arrested the theatre management along with two others.

Allu Arjun was also named in the case, leading to his arrest by the Chikkadapally police on Friday. Lakshmi Parvathi, commenting on the incident, recalled similar stampedes that occurred during Chandrababu Naidu's visits to Pushkarams and Kandukuru, where numerous people had died. She raised the question of why the police had not arrested Naidu in those cases and demanded an explanation for his continued immunity from arrest.

Hyderabd ( Journalist File ) : BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has condemned the arrest of actor Allu Arjun in connection with the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre. KTR described the arrest of the national award-winning star as an "extreme reaction" that reflects the ruling government's sense of insecurity.

While expressing his condolences for the victims of the stampede, KTR raised the question of who was truly responsible for the incident. He argued that it was wrong to treat Allu Arjun as a common criminal when he was not directly responsible for the tragedy. The actor should not have been subjected to such treatment, he added.

KTR also criticized the government’s heavy-handed approach and suggested that the same principle should be applied to arrest Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the deaths caused during the Hydra demolitions.

Earlier today, Allu Arjun was arrested by Chikkadpally police in relation to the stampede, which resulted in the death of a woman. The actor faces charges under sections BNS 118(1), BNS 105, and Redwith 3/5, with Section 105 being a non-bailable offense that could lead to a prison sentence ranging from five to ten years.

Hyderabad ( Journalist File ) : Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has reacted to the arrest of actor Allu Arjun in connection with the stampede at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Crossroads, during the Pushpa 2 benefit show on December 4. Speaking to the media in Delhi, Reddy emphasized that the law will take its course in the matter and that he would not intervene in the legal process. He stated that everyone is equal before the law and that the judicial process will proceed accordingly.

The incident, which occurred during Allu Arjun's visit, led to the tragic death of a woman, Revathi, and injuries to her son, Sritej. Following a complaint from the victim's family, the police filed cases against Allu Arjun and several others. Three individuals, including the actor, have been arrested. Allu Arjun faces charges under sections BNS 118(1), BNS 105, and Redwith 3/5 of the IPC.

In response to the tragedy, Allu Arjun expressed his sorrow and announced a financial aid of ₹25 lakh for Revathi’s family. He also reassured the family of his support during this challenging time.

After his arrest, Allu Arjun was subjected to medical tests at Gandhi Hospital and later brought before the court. Meanwhile, his legal team has approached the High Court, further fueling discussions about the incident and the actor's arrest.

Sanjay questioned the manner of the arrest, asking whether it was appropriate for authorities to arrest the actor directly in his room without allowing him time to change his clothes. He expressed anger over the perceived lack of respect for the actor.

Sanjay praised Allu Arjun for bringing international recognition to Indian cinema, asserting that such a prominent figure deserved to be treated with greater respect. While acknowledging the tragic loss of a woman in the stampede, Sanjay blamed the incident on the failures of the Congress government, alleging that it was the government's lack of proper arrangements that led to the chaos. He also pointed out the immense popularity of Pushpa 2, following the success of Pushpa: The Rise, and criticized the inadequate arrangements made for the event.

The Minister emphasized that the negligence displayed in this situation could not be overlooked and called for Allu Arjun to be treated with dignity, not as a criminal. He further stated that the actor should be shown the respect he deserves.

Allu Arjun was arrested by Chikkadpally police today in connection with the stampede that resulted in a woman's death. Based on a statement from an eyewitness, the police interrogated the actor for approximately two hours before transferring him to Gandhi Hospital for a medical examination. He was later taken to the Nampally court. The police have clarified that they are following legal procedures in handling the case.

Andhra Pradesh, Kadapa ( Journalist File ) : In a shocking incident in the Kottapalli village of Vemula Mandal, a youth was brutally attacked with a knife by an assailant, identified as Kullayappa, in what appeared to be a case of unprovoked violence. Reacting strongly to the attack, In-charge Minister S. Savitha expressed her deep anger and immediately intervened to ensure justice for the victim.

Minister Savitha spoke to the In-charge Superintendent of Police (SP) Vidyasagar Naidu, directing him to apprehend the accused without delay. She emphasized that the accused should face stringent punishment for the heinous act and instructed the police to ensure swift action.

The minister also issued directives for the victim to receive the best possible medical care. She instructed doctors at the Tirupati SIMS hospital to provide advanced treatment to the injured youth, who was currently receiving medical attention at the Ruya hospital in Tirupati.

Assuring the victim’s family of the government's support, Minister Savitha stated that the government would stand by them in this time of distress. She stressed that no matter how powerful the perpetrator, they would not be spared from punishment. The minister also clarified that the government would take a firm stance to ensure justice for the victim.

The attack, reportedly prompted by the accused's obsession with the victim, has sent shockwaves through the local community. As the police continue their search for the absconding accused, the authorities are expected to act swiftly to bring the perpetrator to justice.
