The drones have reportedly been positioned close to the West Bengal border, raising concerns over regional security.

According to intelligence sources, terrorist activities in Bangladesh have increased following the ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, further complicating the situation. The Bayraktar TB2 drones are known for their advanced surveillance and combat capabilities and are being used by the Bangladesh Army for reconnaissance and defense missions.

The Indian Army, acknowledging the development, stated it is fully prepared to respond to any contingency. “We are vigilant and have deployed Heron TP drones in the region. Our forces are ready to handle any situation,” an official statement said.

Amid the heightened tensions, Bangladesh has also recalled two of its diplomats from India, adding to the strained relations. The deployment of killer drones and the withdrawal of diplomats mark a significant shift in the dynamics between the two neighboring countries, which have historically shared a complex relationship.

These developments come amidst reports of rising insurgency in the region, making the situation precarious. Both nations have yet to issue formal statements on the evolving security scenario.
