Satyakumar Yadav on Monday hailed the inauguration of two Quantum Reference Facilities in Amaravati as a historic milestone, describing Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's initiative to establish the capital city as a Quantum Valley as a defining moment not only for Andhra Pradesh but for the country as a whole.

In a statement issued here, the Minister said the launch of two quantum beds by the Chief Minister on Tuesday would herald a new chapter in indigenous scientific capability and place Amaravati firmly on the global technology map. "The pace at which this has been achieved was beyond anyone's expectations," Mr. Satyakumar observed, commending the Chief Minister's resolve and unwavering commitment to the vision.

The Minister elaborated on the transformative potential of quantum computing across multiple sectors, with particular emphasis on healthcare. He noted that the technology would significantly advance medical research, enable deeper analysis of the origins and progression of diseases, and accelerate the discovery of new drugs. "This is a revolutionary development that will bring about far-reaching changes across several fields," he said.

Mr. Satyakumar credited the achievement entirely to the Chief Minister's vision and sustained effort, noting that Andhra Pradesh had become the first State in the country to reach this milestone. He also conveyed his gratitude to the Central Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with various institutions and scientists, for their cooperation and support in realising this goal. "Tuesday is a day every Telugu person can take pride in," the Minister added.

Sharp attack on Jagan Reddy

Turning to the political situation in the State, Andhra Pradesh State Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav launched a sharp attack on former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of pursuing a deliberate strategy to obstruct and undermine the progress of Amaravati's development.

The Minister recalled that Mr. Jagan Reddy had himself declared before the Assembly that Amaravati was the State capital, only to subsequently float the contentious three-capital proposal. He said the former Chief Minister's recent advocacy of a "Mavigan" formulation — referencing the cities of Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, and Guntur — was incoherent and reflected a disturbed political disposition. "Even as the public has rejected these arguments, the former Chief Minister shows no sign of introspection. This is a curse the State has had to endure," Mr. Satyakumar said.

The Minister questioned the relevance of Mr. Jagan Reddy's sudden discovery of the three cities twelve years after the State's formation, calling it farcical. He also took strong exception to the former Chief Minister raising questions about the cost of construction materials for Amaravati, while having spent Rs. 500 crore of public money to build a private residence in Visakhapatnam. "Such conduct is thoroughly unbecoming," he said.

A word of caution for the public

Concluding his statement, Mr. Satyakumar urged the people of the State to remain vigilant and carefully observe the unfolding developments. He called on them to recognise the stark contrast between the Chief Minister's constructive efforts toward the State's development and what he described as the former Chief Minister's relentless campaign of disruption, and to exercise discernment in assessing the two.

On Saturday, Padma met TDP MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) in a courtesy visit. Later, addressing the media in Vijayawada, she confirmed that she would formally join the TDP within a week.

Padma launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of neglecting party loyalists and prioritizing personal interests. “Jagan neither has the responsibility to run a party nor to govern effectively. His actions reflect a lack of commitment to society,” she said.

She further criticized the YSRCP leadership, alleging that the party is preparing to deceive its workers once again under the guise of a “good book” strategy. “Those who risked their lives for the party are now considered dispensable,” she remarked.

Alla Nani’s TDP Entry Under Consideration

Meanwhile, former YSRCP minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (Alla Nani), who recently resigned from the ruling party, is also preparing to join the TDP. However, his entry has met with resistance from sections of TDP cadre in his constituency.

The TDP leadership is reportedly taking a cautious approach, assessing potential repercussions before making a decision. Key leaders from the constituency have been tasked with addressing dissent among party workers opposed to Alla Nani’s inclusion.

Sources indicate that the TDP leadership believes resolving internal objections will pave the way for Alla Nani’s smooth induction into the party. The developments are being closely monitored as the party prepares for the upcoming elections.

Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati ( Journalist File ) : Senior Telugu Desam Party TDP leader Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy has alleged that former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu faces a serious threat to his life from YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders. Addressing the media, he claimed that Naidu is being targeted for exposing corruption and misgovernance during the past five years of YSRCP rule.

Reddy criticized the YSRCP’s allegations against Naidu regarding the Kakinada SEZ project, where they accused him of colluding with businessman KV Rao. “If Chandrababu Naidu had truly committed any irregularities, what actions did the YSRCP take over the past five years? Their inaction speaks volumes,” Reddy said, directing his remarks at YSRCP MP V. Vijayasai Reddy.

He further questioned the sale of land in the SEZ, alleging that it was undervalued and sold at Rs. 29,000 per acre. “Was the land sold by coercion or manipulation? Let Vijayasai Reddy explain,” he demanded, accusing the ruling party of misusing its power for personal gains.

Reddy criticized Vijayasai Reddy's recent statements about Naidu, calling his language inappropriate and provocative. “If the Chief Minister and his aides want to send Chandrababu Naidu to jail after regaining power, as they claim, it only shows their vindictiveness,” Reddy said.

He also lashed out at Vijayasai Reddy, labeling him a "broker" and accusing him of acting as a loyal subordinate to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. “The YSRCP leaders are trying to divert attention from their failures by targeting Naidu, but the public can see through this strategy,” Reddy added.

Expressing concern for Naidu’s safety, Reddy warned that the escalating rhetoric from the YSRCP posed a direct threat to his life. “This is not just about politics; this is about ensuring his safety amidst a systematic campaign against him,” he said.

Reddy urged the public to recognize the political vendetta at play and called for accountability from the ruling party.

Andhra Pradesh , Penugonda ( Journalist File ) : The Andhra Pradesh government is set to construct BC Bhavans in all 26 district headquarters, according to BC Welfare Minister S. Savita. Speaking at the Bhoomi Puja ceremony for the Bhagiratha Kalyana Mandapam in Somandepalli mandal, the Minister emphasized the government's commitment to empowering the BC community through infrastructural and welfare initiatives. The Kalyana Mandapam is being constructed with ₹80 lakh from MP LAD funds, and Minister Savita personally pledged ₹5 lakh for the project.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister highlighted several developmental works underway in Somandepalli, including the construction of CC roads and drainage systems at a cost of ₹5 crore. Additionally, ₹1.4 crore is being allocated for urban infrastructure development. She noted that drinking water issues were addressed by installing four borewells and providing irrigation to 300 acres through HNSS canal pipelines. Plans are also in place to establish a Junior College and an ITI in the mandal, with ITI classes expected to commence next year.

Acknowledging the support she received from Somandepalli residents in the previous elections, Minister Savita expressed her gratitude and promised to repay the trust through continued development work. She credited Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for entrusting her with ministerial responsibilities and reiterated her commitment to the welfare of the BC community.

The Minister announced plans to construct BC Bhavans across all districts, stating that the previous Chandrababu Naidu government had allocated ₹2 crore for a BC Bhavan in Somandepalli during 2014-19. However, the project was stalled during the YSRCP regime, leaving the building incomplete. Minister Savita criticized the previous government for neglecting BC welfare, asserting that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had now allocated fresh funds to complete these pending projects.

Minister Savita accused former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of betraying the BC community by halting ongoing BC Bhavan constructions and failing to utilize allocated funds. She claimed that Jagan’s indifference to the BC community demonstrated his bias, labeling him a “BC betrayer.”

The Minister reiterated the government’s vision of transforming BC youth into entrepreneurs by providing self-employment loans. She stated that initiatives aimed at fostering economic independence among BC youth were already being implemented.

Earlier, Minister Savita paid floral tributes to the statue of Bhagiratha in Somandepalli and was felicitated by TDP leaders, activists, and members of the Bhagiratha community. The event witnessed significant participation from TDP leaders, cadres, and community members.
