నరసరావుపేట ( జర్నలిస్ట్ ఫైల్ ) : పల్నాడు జిల్లాలో విద్యుత్ శాఖ విజిలెన్స్ విభాగం ఆధ్వర్యంలో మాచెర్ల పట్టణంలో విస్తృత తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించారు. ఆపరేషన్ విభాగ పర్యవేక్షక ఇంజనీర్ డాక్టర్ పి.విజయకుమార్ సమన్వయంలో నలభై ఐదు మంది అధికారులు, నూటముప్పై ఐదు మంది సిబ్బంది నలభై ఐదు బృందాలుగా ఏర్పడి మొత్తం నాలుగు వేల మూడు వందల పదకొండు సర్వీసులను పరిశీలించారు. ఈ తనిఖీల్లో విద్యుత్ చౌర్యం మరియు అక్రమ వినియోగం జరిగినట్లు గుర్తించి మొత్తం మూడు లక్షల ఎనభై తొమ్మిది వేల రూపాయల జరిమానా విధించారు.

హైదరాబాద్ ( జర్నలిస్ట్ ఫైల్ ) : నగరంలోని కెపిహెచ్‌బి కాలనీలో ఆదివారం అర్థరాత్రి దారుణ హత్య చోటుచేసుకుంది. సర్దార్‌పటేల్‌నగర్‌లో గల ఓ అపార్ట్‌మెంట్ వాచ్‌మెన్‌ను గంజాయి మత్తులో ఉన్న ముఠా సభ్యులు ఇనుపరాడ్డుతో పొడిచి హత్య చేశారు. పోలీసులు తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం.. బాధితుడు వెంకటరమణ (వయస్సు 45) ఆ ప్రాంతంలో వాచ్‌మెన్‌గా పనిచేస్తున్నాడు.

అర్థరాత్రి సమయంలో అతని అపార్ట్‌మెంట్ సమీపంలోని పార్కులో గంజాయి సేవిస్తూ గందరగోళం సృష్టిస్తున్న ముఠా సభ్యులను వెంకటరమణ మందలించాడు. దీనిపై ఆగ్రహించిన నలుగురు యువకులు అతనిపై ఇనుపరాడ్డుతో దాడి చేసి తీవ్రంగా గాయపరిచారు. తీవ్ర రక్తస్రావంతో అక్కడికక్కడే వెంకటరమణ మరణించాడు.

సమాచారం అందుకున్న పోలీసులు సంఘటనాస్థలానికి చేరుకుని మృతదేహాన్ని పోస్టుమార్టం నిమిత్తం గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. కుటుంబ సభ్యుల ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు కేసు నమోదు చేసి, హత్యకు పాల్పడిన నిందితుల కోసం గాలింపు చేపట్టారు.

పోలీసులు ఎవరైనా సమాచారం అందిస్తే 100కు సమాచారం ఇవ్వాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.

హైదరాబాద్‌ ( జర్నలిస్ట్ ఫైల్ ) :  తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో రాబోయే రెండు నుంచి మూడు రోజులపాటు ఉరుములు, మెరుపులు, ఈదురు గాలులతో కూడిన వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశముందని హైదరాబాద్ వాతావరణ శాఖ హెచ్చరించింది. సోమవారం, మంగళవారం మధ్య పలు జిల్లాల్లో తేలికపాటి నుంచి మోస్తరు వర్షాలు, వడగండ్ల వానలు కురిసే సూచనలు ఉన్నాయని వెల్లడించింది.

వర్షాల సమయంలో పిడుగుల ప్రభావం ఎక్కువగా ఉండే అవకాశం ఉన్నందున ప్రజలు చెట్లు, ఓపెన్ ప్రదేశాల్లో నిలుచోవద్దని హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేసింది. మొబైల్ ఫోన్‌లు, లోహ పదార్థాల వాడకాన్ని నివారించాలని సూచించింది. ప్రయాణంలో ఉన్నవారు మెరుపులు కనిపించిన వెంటనే రక్షణ పొందే ప్రదేశాలకు వెళ్లాలని సూచించింది.

ఈదురు గాలులు 40 కిమీ వేగంతో వీచే సూచనలు
వర్షాలతో పాటు గంటకు 30 నుంచి 40 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో గాలులు వీచే అవకాశముందని వాతావరణ శాఖ అంచనా వేసింది. దీని వల్ల విద్యుత్ తీగలు, చెట్లు, ఫ్లెక్సీలు నేలకొరిగే ప్రమాదం ఉన్నందున జనం అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించింది. ముఖ్యంగా బైక్‌లు, చిన్న వాహనాల్లో ప్రయాణించే వారు ముందు జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని తెలిపింది.

రైతులకు ముందస్తు హెచ్చరికలు
వడగండ్ల వానలు పంటలపై తీవ్ర ప్రభావం చూపే ప్రమాదం ఉన్నందున, ఇప్పటికే పూత దశలో ఉన్న పంటల రక్షణకు తాత్కాలిక షీట్లు, కవర్లు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలని వ్యవసాయ శాఖ సూచించింది. తలుపులు, షెడ్లు బలంగా ఉండేలా చూసుకోవాలని సూచించింది.

పట్టణాల్లో నీటి నిలిచే ప్రమాదం
హైదరాబాద్, ఖమ్మం, వరంగల్ లాంటి నగరాల్లో వర్షాలు ఒక్కసారిగా కురిస్తే రోడ్లపై నీరు నిలిచే ప్రమాదం ఉంది. మున్సిపల్ అధికారులు డ్రైనేజ్ వ్యవస్థను ముందుగానే పరిశీలించి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని వాతావరణ శాఖ కోరింది. ప్రజలు తమ ఇంటి పరిసరాల్లో నీరు నిలిచే పరిస్థితి లేకుండా జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించింది.

ఇలాంటి వాతావరణ పరిస్థితుల నేపథ్యంలో ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండటం, సంబంధిత అధికార యంత్రాంగం సమయానికి స్పందించడం అత్యంత అవసరం.

Visakhapatnam ( Journalist File ) : Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha reiterated the state government's firm stance against the ganja trade, asserting that a "strong crackdown" is underway to curb its rampant spread. Speaking to the media after inaugurating a new road accident victim assistance center and a police station at Arilova in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, Anitha outlined various law enforcement measures being implemented across the state.

Anitha said that the government, led by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), is paying special attention to the development of police infrastructure. "The importance of police stations, just like temples and schools, cannot be overstated," she remarked, highlighting that the Chief Minister has made the development of police services a priority. She also emphasized that the police department is now undergoing a significant transformation, starting from scratch to improve its capabilities.

The Home Minister also lauded the ongoing efforts to assist road accident victims in Visakhapatnam. A toll-free helpline, 7995095793, has been established to provide immediate support, and the central government is actively involved in helping accident victims. Anitha added that changes to insurance policies for accident victims are being reviewed to ensure smoother assistance.

The Arilova police station, which was initiated in 2018 under the leadership of former Home Minister Chinnarajappa, was formally inaugurated under the current government, marking a significant milestone in improving law enforcement facilities in the region.

Addressing concerns regarding traffic violations, particularly involving auto-rickshaws, Anitha announced that training programs are being conducted for auto drivers to enhance their compliance with traffic rules. She also noted a surge in social media activity, with tweets and reports surfacing as opposition figures, particularly from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), come under scrutiny for alleged involvement in various crimes. She specifically accused YSRCP leaders, including Vijay Sai Reddy and V. V. Subba Reddy, of having links to illegal activities, calling Vijay Sai Reddy an individual of "no moral values."

On the topic of alleged corruption in the Kakinada port issue, Anitha claimed that the YSRCP leadership has been intimidating officials and attempting to manipulate investigations. She further revealed that the CBI is investigating illegal rice transportation activities.

The Home Minister also pointed out that the police department has been functioning well, with a dedicated focus on addressing land encroachments, particularly those involving YSRCP leaders. She cited instances of illegal activities involving former MP A. M. V. Satyanarayana in Visakhapatnam. Anitha noted that under the previous administration, police stations were poorly managed, but the current government has taken significant steps to rectify these issues.

In an effort to enhance security, the state government is installing CCTV cameras in cities and deploying drone cameras to detect and destroy ganja plantations. The EAGLE system, which aims to strengthen surveillance, has already begun operations, according to the Home Minister.

Anitha concluded by praising the police department for its continued efforts and stressed that the government will remain committed to maintaining law and order, ensuring that the safety and security of the people remain a top priority.
