                                    <description><![CDATA[<p class="isSelectedEnd">VIJAYAWADA, Sept. 8, 2026: The first preliminary round of <em>Vaad-Vivaad</em>, billed as Vijayawada’s biggest bilingual inter-college debate competition, was held at Andhra Loyola College, bringing together students from several colleges to debate contemporary national issues.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Organised by AE Foundation, the second edition of <em>Vaad-Vivaad</em> seeks to encourage young people to think critically, articulate their views and engage with issues concerning culture, the Constitution, education, youth policy and nation building. The bilingual format, conducted in Telugu and English, is intended to make language less of a barrier while helping students overcome stage fear and develop confidence in public speaking.</p>
