...]]> Andhra Pradesh https://www.journalistfile.com/article/1912/0189-3010074 https://www.journalistfile.com/article/1912/0189-3010074 Tue, 15 Sep 2026 23:30:12 +0530 మామూళ్ల మత్తు... కుప్పం చెరువులో జోరుగా అక్రమ తవ్వకాలు కుప్పం ( జర్నలిస్ట్ ఫైల్ ) :  కుప్పం చెరువులో మూడు నెలలుగా అక్రమంగా మట్టి తవ్వకాలు సాగుతున్నాయి. నిత్యం మండల స్థాయి అధికారుల నుండి జిల్లా స్థాయి అధికారులు ఈ రోడ్డు మార్గంలోనే రాకపోకలు సాగిస్తారు. ఎవరి కంటపడకుండా అక్రమ తవ్వకాలు చేపట్టేందుకు అభివృద్ధి పేరుతో ప్రహరీ గోడ నిర్మించారు. మూడు నెలలుగా యథేచ్చగా భారీ ఎత్తున జేసీబీ యంత్రాలతో తవ్వి ట్రాక్టర్లలో తరలిస్తున్నారు. చెరువులో మట్టి తవ్వకాలు ప్రారంభించిన కొంత మేరకు నీరు నిల్వ ఉండగా, ఇప్పుడు చెరువులో నీటిమట్టం అడుగంటింది. ప్రస్తుతం చెరువు స్వరూపం కోల్పోయింది. ఇంత జరుగుతున్నా అధికారులకు అక్రమ మట్టి తవ్వకాలు కనిపించకపోవడం విడ్డూరంగా ఉందని ప్రజలు వాపోతున్నారు.
