Chandrababu Launches ₹11,359 Crore Urban Development Programme Across Andhra Pradesh

KUPPAM, Andhra Pradesh, September 22, 2026 (Journalist File) — Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday virtually launched urban development works worth ₹11,359 crore across 123 municipalities and municipal corporations, calling for cities and towns to become engines of economic growth.

Launching the projects from Kuppam, Naidu said the scale of investment marked a significant phase in the state's municipal development and called on elected representatives and officials to focus on improving urban living conditions alongside economic activity.

PITHAPURAM, Andhra Pradesh, September 22, 2026 (Journalist File) — Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday announced a broad expansion of infrastructure and welfare initiatives in Pithapuram constituency, saying the government was accelerating efforts to address long-standing development needs.

Vijayawada, April 20: The Bharatiya Janata Party's NTR District unit conducted a Janata Varadhi programme at the NTR District Collectorate on Monday, receiving petitions from the public on a range of civic and welfare issues, and subsequently submitted a memorandum to the District Collector urging the immediate operationalisation of defunct solid and liquid waste management units across the district.

కాకుమాను ( జర్నలిస్ట్ ఫైల్ ) : హరిత పద్ధతుల్లో వ్యర్థాలను నిర్వహించేందుకు గాను, గృహ స్థాయిలో కంపోస్ట్ తయారీపై మహిళలకు శిక్షణ కార్యక్రమాలు ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. మే 15వ తేదీ నుంచి కాకుమాను మండలంలోని వివిధ గ్రామాల్లో ఈ శిక్షణలు చేపడుతున్నారు.

శిక్షణ తేదీలు, గ్రామాలు:

మే 15:
అప్పాపురం, బీకేపాలెం, చినలింగాయపాలెం, గరికపాడు, గార్లపాడు, కొమ్మూరు, కొండపాటూరు, కేబీ పాలెం, వల్లూరు

మే 16:
కొలిమర్ల, రేటూరు

మే 19:
బోడిపాలెం, పాండ్రపాడు

ఈ శిక్షణలు ఆయా గ్రామాల రైతు సేవా కేంద్రాల్లో నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు కాకుమాను మండలం వ్యవసాయ అధికారి శ్రీమతి కిరణ్మయి తెలిపారు. గృహస్థులు తమ ఇంట్లోనే సులభంగా కంపోస్ట్ తయారు చేసుకునే విధానాలను, అవసరమైన జాగ్రత్తలను ఈ శిక్షణలో నేర్పనున్నారని ఆమె పేర్కొన్నారు.

ఇది నేడు ప్రాముఖ్యత పొందుతున్న పరిపాలనా విధానాల్లో భాగంగా వ్యవసాయ అవసరాలకు అనువైన సేంద్రీయ ఎరువుల తయారీకి దోహదపడే చర్యగా పేర్కొనవచ్చు.
