ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ, తాను కూడా రైతు కుటుంబంలో పుట్టి పెరిగిన వాడినని, చిన్ననాటి నుంచి రైతుల సమస్యలు చూడగలిగానని తెలిపారు. మామూలుగా రైతులు తాము పండించిన పంటలకు తగిన ధర రాకపోవడం, దళారుల చేతిలో నష్టపోవడం జరుగుతుంటుందని, అందువల్ల రైతులు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు. ప్రతి గ్రామంలోనూ ఇలాంటి గోడౌన్లు అందుబాటులోకి రావాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
