Guntur, April 3: The chants of Jai Amaravati and Jai Modi rang through the streets of Guntur on Friday as BJP,TDP and Janasena workers poured out in celebration, marking the passage of the Amaravati capital bill in both Houses of Parliament — a moment many here described as the culmination of a long and bruising political battle.

At the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Circle, party workers performed a ceremonial milk offering to a portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, garlanded the statue of former Prime Minister Vajpayee, and raised slogans hailing the NDA coalition for delivering legal recognition to the city that Andhra Pradesh has long claimed as its rightful capital.

BJP Guntur district president Cherukuri Tirupati Rao, who led the celebrations, said the NDA's united effort had turned years of uncertainty into a constitutional reality. "The decision has restored the faith of the people of Andhra Pradesh," he said, thanking both the Central and state leadership for seeing the matter through.

Senior BJP leader Jupudi Rangaraju called the passage of the bill through the Assembly and Parliament a watershed moment, saying it had laid to rest a controversy that had clouded the state's political landscape for years.

East constituency MLA Naseer Ahmed struck an emotional note, remembering the farmers who had given up their lands for the capital's construction. "Their sacrifice has not gone in vain," he said, adding that legal recognition was long overdue since the state's bifurcation.

West constituency MLA Galla Madhavi said the Centre-state partnership would now accelerate development on the ground, while Janasena district president Gade Venkateswara Rao said the decision had given fresh hope to those who had fought for Amaravati through years of political turbulence.

The gathering drew a large cross-section of BJP and Janasena district leaders and workers, reflecting the mood of a coalition united in celebrating what many here are calling Andhra Pradesh's defining political moment.

Amaravati : Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu stated that Amaravati has now received irreversible legal status as the capital of Andhra Pradesh through an Act passed in Parliament, calling it a historic moment  honoring the will of the people.
Expressing happiness over the passage of the Amaravati Bill in Parliament, the Chief Minister participated in 
Deepa Harathi ceremony along with his wife Bhuvaneswari  and farmers at Uddandarayunipalem, the site where the foundation stone for the capital was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 
Later addressing the gathering the Chief Minister said "The success of Amaravati will be written in golden letters in the history of India.”The sacrifices of farmers who gave their land will remain eternal.
“After facing numerous conspiracies, we have reclaimed our capital.”Amaravati now has permanent legal backing—an identity for the state that was missing until now.
He also recalled the support extended by leaders like Pawan Kalyan during the agitation.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to
Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
Union Home Minister Amit Shah and leaders of all political parties that supported the bill.
The Chief Minister said Amaravati is not just a capital, it is a symbol of Telugu pride and self-respect.He added that the Prime Minister is expected to visit again to inaugurate projects once construction is completed.
Strongly criticising  the opposition, particularly YSR Congress Party, the Chief Minister said they walked out during crucial discussions on the capital and  failed to support resolutions even in the Assembly.
The Chief Minister inspected the foundation plaque performed Puja.
He offered prayers and performed Deepa Harathi with devotion.
The event was attended by ministers, public representatives and Amaravati farmers.

AMARAVATI, APRIL 2: The passage of the Amaravati Capital Bill in both Houses of Parliament has set off widespread celebrations across Andhra Pradesh, with political leaders and farmers gathering at Uddandarayunipalem to mark what many are calling a defining moment in the state's post-bifurcation journey.

Addressing the gathering, BJP state president PVN Madhav said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pivotal role in steering the legislation through Parliament had earned him a permanent place in the hearts of the people of Andhra Pradesh. He also paid tribute to Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his sustained support, describing it as something that "history will remember."

Mr. Madhav characterised the conferment of legal status upon Amaravati as a landmark achievement, noting that it had been realised only after prolonged struggle and perseverance. He attributed the success to a combination of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's resolve and the sustained backing of the Central government. The contributions of BJP's elected representatives and Members of Parliament from the state also received special mention.

Reflecting on the sacrifices made by farmers who had surrendered their lands for the capital's development, Mr. Madhav said the hardships they endured between 2019 and 2024 could not be forgotten. He observed that the bill had secured the support of nearly all major political parties in the country — a rare show of cross-party consensus.

Mr. Madhav expressed confidence that Amaravati would grow into far more than an administrative capital — envisioning it as a hub for industry, tourism, and welfare initiatives. He recalled with pride his own role as a member of the Capital Selection Committee during his tenure as MLC, when he had submitted reports to the Central government on the matter. The symbolic gesture of bringing soil and water from sacred sites across the country to Amaravati, he said, had forged a deep national connection with the new capital.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, speaking at the event, reiterated the government's firm commitment to developing Amaravati into a world-class capital city.

Among those present were BJP leaders Panatala Suresh, Syed Basha, and several others. The mood among attendees was one of relief and optimism, with leaders expressing that the long-cherished aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh had at last been fulfilled

అమరావతి, జూలై 5: ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు అధ్యక్షతన సమావేశమైన 50వ సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ రాజధాని నిర్మాణానికి అవసరమైన కీలకమైన నిర్ణయాలను తీసుకుంది. మొత్తం ఏడు అంశాలకు సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ ఆమోదాన్ని తెలియచేసింది. ఉండవల్లిలోని సీఎం క్యాంప్ కార్యాలయంలో జరిగిన సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ సమావేశానికి పురపాలక శాఖ మంత్రి పి.నారాయణ, ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కె.విజయానంద్, సీఆర్డీఏ, ఏడీసీ, ఆర్ధిక శాఖ, సీసీఎల్ఏకు చెందిన ఉన్నతాధికారులు హాజరయ్యారు. రాజధాని పరిధిలో మరో 20,494 ఎకరాల మేర భూ సమీకరణకు అథారిటీ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. పలనాడు జిల్లా అమరావతి మండలంలోని వైకుంఠపురం, పెదమద్దూరు, యండ్రాయి, కార్లపూడిలేమల్లే, గుంటూరు జిల్లా తుళ్లూరు మండలంలోని వడ్డమాను, హరిశ్చంద్రపురం, పెదపరిమి గ్రామాల్లో ఈ భూ సమీకరణ చేసేందుకు సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ ఆమోదాన్ని ఇచ్చింది. రాజధానిలో హైడెన్సిటీ రెసిడెన్షియల్ జోన్ సహా మిశ్రమ అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టులకు ఆర్‌ఎఫ్‌పీ పిలిచేందుకు ఆమోదాన్ని తెలిపింది. మందడం, రాయపూడి, పిచుకలపాలెంలలో ఫైనాన్స్, స్పోర్ట్స్ సిటీల్లోని దాదాపు 58 ఎకరాల్లో ఈ హైడెన్సిటీ రెసిడెన్షియల్ జోన్, మిశ్రమ అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టుల నిర్మాణానికి ఆర్ఎఫ్‌పిని ఆహ్వానించేందుకు సీఆర్డీఏకు అనుమతి ఇచ్చింది. అలాగే అమరావతిలో నిర్మించే ఫైవ్ స్టార్ హోటళ్లకు సమీపంలో అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రమాణాలతో కన్వెన్షన్ సెంటర్ల నిర్మాణం కోసం సీఆర్డీఏ చేసిన ప్రతిపాదనలకు సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ ఆమోదాన్ని తెలిపింది. మందడంలో వివాంతా, హిల్టన్ హోటల్స్, తుళ్లూరులో హయత్ రీజెన్సీ, లింగాయపాలెం నోవోటెల్ సమీపంలో ఈ కన్వెన్షన్ సెంటర్ల నిర్మాణానికి 2.5 ఎకరాల చొప్పున కేటాయిస్తూ అథారిటీ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. క్వాలిటీ బేస్డ్ సెలెక్షన్ ప్రాతిపదికన ఈ కన్వెన్షన్ సెంటర్ల నిర్మాణానికి అథారిటీ ఆమోదం తెలియచేసింది. 

రాజధాని పనులకు కృష్ణా నది నుంచే ఇసుక  

రాజధాని అమరావతిలో జరుగుతున్న నిర్మాణ పనులకు కృష్ణానది నుంచే ఇసుకను డ్రెడ్జింగ్ చేసుకునేందుకు సీఆర్డీఏకి అనుమతి మంజూరు చేసింది. ప్రస్తుతం రాజధానిలో రూ.49,040 కోట్ల విలువైన పనులు  జరుగుతున్న రీత్యా రానున్న రెండేళ్లలో వివిధ ప్రాజెక్టులకు 160 లక్షల క్యూబిక్ మీటర్ల ఇసుక అవసరం అవుతుందని సీఆర్డీఏ అంచనా వేసింది. రాజధాని నిర్మాణానికి  అవసరం అయ్యే ఇసుకను ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజీ ఎగువన డీసిల్టింగ్ చేసుకునేందుకు అనుమతి ఇవ్వాలని జలవనరుల శాఖను సీఆర్డీఏ కోరింది. రెండేళ్ల పాటు రాజధాని ప్రాజెక్టులకు అవసరమైన ఇసుకను తవ్వుకునేందుకు సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ ఆమోదాన్ని తెలియచేసింది. ఇసుక డీసిల్టేషన్ ప్రక్రియకు రూ.286 కోట్ల మేర వ్యయం కానున్నట్టు అథారిటీ సమావేశంలో అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

అమరావతి రాజధానిలో వివిధ సంస్థలకు భూ కేటాయింపులపై మంత్రుల సబ్ కమిటీ తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాలకు కూడా సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటి ఆమోదాన్ని తెలిపింది. సెంట్రల్ బ్యూరో ఆఫ్ ఇన్వెస్టిగేషన్‌కు 2 ఎకరాలు, జూలాజికల్ సర్వే ఆఫ్ ఇండియాకు 2 ఎకరాలు, స్టేట్ ఫోరెన్సిక్ సైన్స్  ల్యాబ్‌కు 5 ఎకరాలు, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కో ఆపరేటివ్ బ్యాంకు లిమిటెడ్‌కు 0.495 ఎకరాలు, పుల్లెల గోపీచంద్ బ్యాడ్మింటన్ అకాడెమీకి 12 ఎకరాలు, ఎంఎస్‌కే ప్రసాద్  ఇంటర్నేషనల్ క్రికెట్ అకాడెమీకి 12 ఎకరాలు కేటాయిస్తూ సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ అమోదం ఇచ్చింది. అలాగే ఆదాయపు పన్ను శాఖకు 2 ఎకరాలు, ఏపీ గ్రామీణ బ్యాంక్‌కు 2 ఎకరాలు, సెంట్రల్ బ్యాంక్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియాకు 0.40 ఎకరాలు, ఎస్ఐబీకి 0.50 ఎకరాలు, బ్యూరో ఆఫ్ ఇమ్మిగ్రేషన్‌కు 0.50 ఎకరాలు, కిమ్స్ ఆస్పత్రి, మెడికల్ కళాశాలకు 25 ఎకరాలు, భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ కార్యాలయం నిర్మాణం కోసం 2 ఎకరాలను, బాసిల్ వుడ్స్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ స్కూల్‌కు 4 ఎకరాలను కేటాయించేందుకు సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ ఆమోదాన్ని ఇచ్చింది. అలాగే గ్యాస్ అథారిటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా లిమిటెడ్, అంబికా గ్రూప్‌లకు గతంలో కేటాయించిన 1.40  ఎకరాలను రద్దు చేస్తూ అథారిటీ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలోని మంగళగిరి సమీపంలో E-15 రహదారిపై నాలుగులేన్ల ఆర్వోబీ నిర్మాణానికి సీఆర్డీఏ అథారిటీ ఆమోదాన్ని తెలియచేసింది. 

అమరావతిలో అల్లూరి, అమరజీవి స్మారక చిహ్నాలు

రాజధాని అమరావతిలో స్ఫూర్తినిచ్చేవారి స్మారక చిహ్నాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆదేశించారు. ఈ మేరకు మన్యం వీరుడు అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు, అమరజీవి పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు విగ్రహాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాల్సిందిగా అధికారులకు సూచనలు చేశారు. వివిధ ప్రాంతాల్లో నిర్మించే ఎకో పార్కులకూ మంచి పేర్లను పెట్టాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి స్పష్టం చేశారు. కొత్త ప్రాజెక్టుల కోసం అధికారులు ఎలాంటి బేషజాలు లేకుండా ప్రయత్నాలు చేయాలని సూచించారు. అమరావతి రాజధాని రాష్ట్ర ప్రజల సెంటిమెంట్ అని, గతంలో రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయం వేగంగా రికార్డు సమయంలో నిర్మించామని, అదే స్ఫూర్తితో పనులు పూర్తి చేయాలని అన్నారు. అమరావతిలో ఎయిర్ పోర్టు నిర్మాణం విషయంలో కేంద్రంతో సంప్రదింపులు చేయాలని అధికారులకు సీఎం సూచించారు. రాజధానిలో నిర్మించతలపెట్టిన ఏ ప్రాజెక్టూ ఆలస్యం కాకుండా చూడాలన్నారు. కొత్తగా వచ్చే ప్రాజెక్టులకు అనుమతులను వేగవంతంగా ఇవ్వాలని సీఎం స్పష్టం చేశారు. నిర్మాణ పనులు సరిగ్గా చేయని సంస్థలకు నోటీసులు ఇచ్చి వివరణ తీసుకోవాలని, గడువులోగా పూర్తి చేసేలా నిర్దేశించాలని ముఖ్యంత్రి చంద్రబాబు అన్నారు.
