The title distribution was held as part of the ‘Pattabhishekam for the Poor’ programme. The government has decided to regularise 399 acres of land across 11 mandals in Visakhapatnam district, covering a total of 19,33,853 square yards.

అమరావతి : విశాఖ నగరాభివృద్ధి కోసం అంతర్జాతీయ ఆర్థిక సంస్థ (IFC) నుంచి విశాఖపట్నం మహానగర పాలక సంస్థ (GVMC) రుణం తీసుకునేందుకు సంబంధించి ఐఎఫ్‌సీ-జీవీఎంసీ అధికారులు మధ్య ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు సమక్షంలో ఒప్పందం జరిగింది. అనంతరం జీవీఎంసీ అధికారులు ముఖ్యమంత్రితో సమావేశమై త్వరలో చేపట్టే అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టు వివరాలను వెల్లడించారు. ఈ ఒప్పందంతో భారతదేశంలో మొదటిసారిగా అంతర్జాతీయ ఆర్థిక సంస్థ నుంచి ప్రత్యక్ష రుణం పొందిన మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్‌గా జీవీఎంసీ నిలిచిందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. విశాఖపట్నంలోని మధురవాడ జోన్–2లో ఆధునిక మురుగునీటి వ్యవస్థను ప్రాజెక్టులో భాగంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయనున్నారు. దీనికి మొత్తం రూ.553 కోట్లు వ్యయం అయ్యే ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులో రూ.498 కోట్లు ఐఎఫ్‌సీ రుణంగా ఇవ్వనుంది. మిగిలిన మొత్తంలో అమృత్ 2.0 నుంచి రూ.45.64 కోట్లు, జీవిఎంసీ సొంత నిధులు రూ. 9.36 కోట్లు
