Kurnool, May 19: BJP State president PVN Madhav on Tuesday said party workers remained the principal strength behind the Bharatiya Janata Party’s organisational expansion and called upon cadre to work with the spirit of “nation first, politics later.”

Participating in the district-level training camp organised under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan in Kurnool, Mr. Madhav addressed party workers on ideological orientation, organisational responsibilities, leadership development and public outreach.

He said the BJP recognised and encouraged every worker who served the party with commitment and selflessness. Party cadre, he observed, were the true ambassadors responsible for taking the party’s ideology and welfare initiatives to the people.

Mr. Madhav underlined the need for continuous training to strengthen leadership qualities, social awareness and responsiveness to public issues among party workers. He urged cadre to uphold values such as patriotism, discipline, dedication to society and service-mindedness while remaining closely connected with people at the grassroots level.

Stressing the growing influence of social media in shaping public opinion, he advised workers to remain vigilant against misinformation and effectively counter false propaganda with facts. He also called upon party cadre to maintain cordial relations with the public and safeguard the party’s credibility through responsible conduct.

Referring to national issues, Mr. Madhav said the country was passing through a phase that required citizens to remain alert on matters concerning national security, democratic values and social harmony. He pointed to global geopolitical developments and the spread of misinformation on digital platforms as areas of concern.

He said the Union government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi was taking firm measures to strengthen national security, economic stability and internal governance. Citizens, irrespective of political affiliations, should work collectively for the protection of the Constitution and national integrity, he said.

Mr. Madhav also urged youth not to rely on unverified information circulating on social media platforms and instead trust official sources of information. He criticised certain Opposition parties for allegedly placing political interests above national priorities.

Calling for responsible use of resources, he said people should reduce unnecessary fuel consumption and limit avoidable foreign travel, while drawing inspiration from what he described as the Prime Minister’s own efforts towards austerity.

He concluded by urging citizens to unite with the spirit of “nation before politics” for the country’s development and security.

SRIKAKULAM, May 6: BJP Andhra Pradesh State President PVN Madhav said on Tuesday that the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan — 2026, the party's state-wide training initiative, was aimed at transforming every worker from the polling booth level upwards into a capable and committed leader.

Madhav was speaking as the chief guest at a district-level training workshop held in Srikakulam as part of the campaign, which is being conducted across Andhra Pradesh. Addressing party leaders and workers, he elaborated on the party's founding principles, the philosophy of cultural nationalism, and the Antyodaya doctrine — the ideological commitment to the welfare of the last person in society.

"Workers are the primary strength of the party," he said. "Every worker must deeply understand the party's ideology and carry it to the people. Discipline, a spirit of service, and commitment are essential for the party's expansion from the village level to the national level."

Deendayal Upadhyaya's philosophy as guiding framework

Madhav invoked the teachings of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, observing that his vision of Antyodaya — upliftment of the weakest sections of society — remained the guiding framework for the party's work. He called upon workers to remain attentive to the problems faced by ordinary citizens and to stay committed to resolving them.

The training programme, he explained, was designed not merely to impart organisational skills but to cultivate leadership qualities among workers and build their capacity to face future challenges effectively.

GUNTUR, April 15: The Bharatiya Janata Party conducted a training session for party workers in the Guntur West Assembly segment on Wednesday as part of its ongoing statewide Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, an intensive capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening the party's organisational presence at the booth level.

The session, held at Yogi Bhavan in Arandalpet, was organised under the direction of District President Cherukuri Tirupati Rao and convened by Mandal President Vakkalagadda Tirumalrao. The programme focused on the sixth module of the training series, themed 'Karya Vistaran – Booth Management,' which centred on expanding the party's reach and reinforcing its electoral machinery at the polling booth level.

BJP State Media Co-Convener and Brahmin Welfare Corporation Director Velagaleti Gangadhar presided over the session. Principal speaker Palapati Ravikumar stressed that the primary responsibility of party workers was to ensure that the welfare schemes initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached every eligible beneficiary at the grassroots. VIJAYAWADA, April 14: The Bharatiya Janata Party observed the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at its State headquarters here on Tuesday, with senior party leaders garlanding a portrait of the jurist-statesman and offering floral tributes in his memory.

Addressing the gathering, BJP SC Morcha State president Pantala Suresh said that the party, under State president P.V.N. Madhav, was organising a series of service programmes across Andhra Pradesh to mark the occasion. He emphasised that Ambedkar was not a leader confined to any caste, religion, or region, but a universal leader whose ideology transcended all boundaries. The event, organised under the chairmanship of district president Cherukuri Tirupati Rao, saw Mr. Madhav formally unfurl the party flag before addressing a gathering of workers and leaders drawn from across the district.

Tracing the BJP's journey since its founding on April 6, 1980, Mr. Madhav said the party had evolved not merely as a political organisation but as a force dedicated to the service of the nation. Guntur, April 2, 2026: The Scheduled Caste Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party elected its new district executive committee for Guntur at a meeting held at the party's district office on Thursday, with the exercise marking a fresh organisational push by the BJP to consolidate its outreach among Dalit communities ahead of future electoral contests.
