VIJAYAWADA, May 6: BJP Andhra Pradesh State President PVN Madhav on Tuesday directed party functionaries and officials to respond promptly to public grievances received through the Jana Varadhi programme and ensure their resolution without delay.

Madhav was addressing a review meeting of the Jana Varadhi initiative held at the BJP State Party Office in Vijayawada, where he participated as the chief guest. The meeting brought together party leaders, Jana Varadhi coordinators, and district representatives from across the state to assess the progress of the grievance redressal programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Madhav said that Jana Varadhi had emerged as a direct channel through which citizens could bring their problems to the party's attention. He emphasised that every petition received through the programme must be duly registered and treated as a priority, with resolution to be pursued through coordinated engagement with the relevant government departments.

"There should be no delay in addressing the grievances of the people," he said. "Officials and party representatives must work in coordination and ensure that each complaint is resolved within a defined timeframe."

Madhav further observed that Jana Varadhi served a dual purpose — not only as a mechanism for grievance redressal, but also as a platform for creating awareness among citizens about government schemes and welfare programmes. He called upon party workers to use the initiative to identify local problems proactively and resolve them before they escalated.

The meeting witnessed extensive discussion on a range of petitions received through Jana Varadhi, following which an action plan was drawn up for their systematic resolution. District-wise reports were presented by Jana Varadhi coordinators, detailing the nature and volume of grievances received from their respective regions.

Wide representation at the review

The meeting was attended by senior state party leaders, heads of various party wings, and district-level representatives, reflecting the organisational importance the BJP has accorded to the Jana Varadhi programme as an instrument of public connect ahead of the coming political season.

Officials were directed to maintain a structured follow-up mechanism to ensure that petitions did not remain pending beyond the stipulated period, and that citizens received timely communication regarding the status of their complaints.

GUNTUR: The screening of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat at VVIT University, Namburu, on Sunday drew a large gathering of students and BJP functionaries.

BJP Andhra Pradesh president P.V.N. Madhav, who attended as the chief guest, said the monthly broadcast serves as a source of guidance for the youth by addressing diverse issues of national importance.

University Chancellor Vidyasagar observed that such programmes help foster a sense of national responsibility among students and said efforts would be made to hold them regularly on campus.

Mr. Madhav said India’s resilience amid global challenges reflects the Centre’s policy direction. Citing Operation Ganga, he noted that the evacuation of Indians from Ukraine demonstrated the country’s diplomatic capability.

He also referred to measures taken to manage fuel prices and highlighted initiatives in sectors such as semiconductors and rare earth minerals as part of the vision for a developed India by 2047. He called upon students to seize emerging opportunities and contribute to nation-building.

A quiz on Mann Ki Baat was conducted, and winners were presented certificates.

Guntur district BJP president Cherukuri Tirupati Rao said such initiatives enhance awareness among youth and strengthen their role in the nation’s development.

శాసనమండలి సభ్యులు, వైయస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి లేళ్ళ అప్పిరెడ్డి తెలియజేశారు. వినూత్న సేవా కార్యక్రమాలతో వారోత్సవాలు, పుట్టినరోజు నాడు వాడ వాడలా  అంబరాన్నంటిన సంబరాలు నిర్వహించిన అందరికీ ఆయన శిరసు వంచి చేతలు జోడించి నమస్కరించారు.

         ఎమ్మెల్సీ లేళ్ళ అప్పిరెడ్డి పుట్టినరోజు వేడుకలను స్వచ్ఛందంగా నిర్వహించిన అభిమానులు, పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలతో బృందావన్ గార్డెన్స్‌లోని క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంలో జిల్లా గ్రంథాలయ సంస్థ చైర్మన్ బత్తుల దేవానంద్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో శనివారం "లీడర్ విత్ కేడర్" కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది. 

        ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్సీ లేళ్ళ అప్పిరెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ, "ఓవైపు అధికారంలో లేము. మరోవైపు అక్రమ కేసులు.. అరెస్టులు.. ఆంక్షలు.. వేధింపులు వెంటాడుతున్నాయి. అయినా అప్పిరెడ్డి మావాడు అంటూ ఆకాశమే హద్దుగా చూపించిన మీ అభిమానానికి కొలతలు లేవు.. కొలమానాలు లేవు.." అని స్పష్టం చేశారు. అవధులు లేని గుంటూరు ప్రజల అభిమానం ఎన్నటికీ మరువలేనిదన్నారు. కులమతాలకు అతీతంగా తనను తమ కుటుంబ సభ్యుడిలా ఆదరించే తీరు అద్భుతమని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. ఏమిచ్చినా వారి రుణం తీర్చుకోలేనిదని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఏదో నాలుగు మాటలు చెబితే చాలదని.. తన చివరి శ్వాస వరకు ప్రజాసేవ చేయడం ద్వారా వారి రుణం కొంతైనా తీర్చుకునేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తానని ఆయన తెలిపారు. అపూర్వం - అపురూపం అయిన ఈ అభిమానాన్ని నా గుండెల్లో పదిలంగా భద్రపరుచుకుంటానని ఎమ్మెల్సీ లేళ్ళ అప్పిరెడ్డి ప్రకటించారు.

అంకిరెడ్డిపాలెంలోని ఓ సామాన్య కుటుంబం నుంచి వచ్చిన తన పట్ల పెద్ద ఎత్తున ఆదరాభిమానాలు చూపిన అందరినీ వ్యక్తిగతంగా కలవాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతోనే ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు ఎమ్మెల్సీ లేళ్ళ అప్పిరెడ్డి వెల్లడించారు. అధికారంలో ఉంటే నేతల ప్రాపకం కోసమో.. పనుల కోసమో.. వేడుకలు నిర్వహించే వారిని చాలా మందినే చూసి ఉంటారు కానీ.. ఇలా స్వలాభాపేక్ష లేకుండా ఆపేక్ష కురిపించే వారిని సొంతం చేసుకున్న తానెంతో అదృష్టవంతుడినని ఆయన తెలిపారు. మీ కుటుంబ సభ్యుడిలా మీ ప్రతి కష్టసుఖాలలో తోడు-నీడలా నిలబడతానని చెబుతూ.. నా జీవన పయనం మీతోనే అని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. రాజకీయ పరమైన కార్యక్రమం కానప్పటికీ.. మనకి మంచి రోజులు రావాలంటే రాష్ట్రంలో వైయస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి రావాలన్న వాస్తవాన్ని గుర్తెరిగి ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ వైయస్ జగన్‌ను మళ్ళీ ముఖ్యమంత్రిని చేసుకునే దిశగా కంకణబద్ధులు కావాలని ఎమ్మెల్సీ లేళ్ళ అప్పిరెడ్డి పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
