GUNTUR, May 3: The BJP district executive committee met on Sunday at Vajpayee Bhavan, the party's district office, under the chairmanship of district president Cherukuri Tirupati Rao, to deliberate on forthcoming programmes and the conduct of a district-level training camp.

Addressing the meeting, Mr. Tirupati Rao announced that a two-day district-level training programme would be held on May 16 and 17 at VVIT College in Namburu, Guntur district. State-level party leaders will participate and conduct sessions on a range of subjects. He also directed party workers to hoist the BJP flag in every village and ward under the 'Mana Ooru – Mana Jenda' (Our Village – Our Flag) programme.

Booth-level outreach and voter data collection

Mr. Tirupati Rao called for the effective implementation of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme across the district. He instructed that BLA-2s be constituted at all polling booths within the district and that they work alongside Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to collect comprehensive voter data — including details of where voters currently reside, the duration of their stay, and the State from which they have migrated.

Training pivotal to party building, says coordinator

Rampalli Jagannadha Sastri, district coordinator for the training programme, said that such instructional camps are critical to strengthening the party's organisational structure. He noted that mandal-level training had already been completed, and the district-level two-day programme would build further on that foundation. He urged participants to observe discipline, deepen their understanding of party ideology, and effectively communicate it to workers at the grassroots. He added that sessions by invited speakers would offer valuable learning across multiple areas of party functioning.

The meeting was attended by Jupudi Rangaraju, Kothuri Venkata Subbarao, Bhimineni Chandrasekhar, CH Yashwanth, Darshanapу Srinivas, Yadlapati Swaroopa Rani, Kokkera Srinivas Yadav, Jaggarapu Srinivasarao, Palaapati Ravi Kumar, Charaka Kumar Goud, Taduvai Ramakrishna, Bajrang Ramakrishna, Kuddus, and Brahmaiah, along with district office-bearers, morcha presidents, general secretaries, mandal presidents, and executive committee members.

GUNTUR, April 15: The Bharatiya Janata Party conducted a training session for party workers in the Guntur West Assembly segment on Wednesday as part of its ongoing statewide Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, an intensive capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening the party's organisational presence at the booth level.

The session, held at Yogi Bhavan in Arandalpet, was organised under the direction of District President Cherukuri Tirupati Rao and convened by Mandal President Vakkalagadda Tirumalrao. The programme focused on the sixth module of the training series, themed 'Karya Vistaran – Booth Management,' which centred on expanding the party's reach and reinforcing its electoral machinery at the polling booth level.

BJP State Media Co-Convener and Brahmin Welfare Corporation Director Velagaleti Gangadhar presided over the session. Principal speaker Palapati Ravikumar stressed that the primary responsibility of party workers was to ensure that the welfare schemes initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached every eligible beneficiary at the grassroots. He urged workers to translate the party's founding principle of Antyodaya — upliftment of the last person in the queue — into tangible action by actively facilitating access to government programmes at the village and ward level.

Mr. Ravikumar also elaborated on the mechanics of effective booth management, emphasising direct voter outreach, systematic data collection, and enrolment of new voters as essential tools for organisational consolidation. He called upon workers to implement the BLA-2 framework diligently as a means of deepening the party's connect with the electorate.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Velagaleti Gangadhar underlined the significance of such training programmes in sharpening the party's electoral preparedness, particularly with the upcoming corporation elections on the horizon. He noted that similar training sessions were being conducted across the state and at the national level to raise the overall standard of party work and worker performance.

The session was attended by BJP State Spokesperson Darshanpu Srinivas, District General Secretary Bajrang Ramakrishna, District Vice President Mantri Suguna, District SC Morcha President Dara Ambedkar, Mandal General Secretary Manchalla Ashok, and several district executive members including Govindrajula Rajyalakshmi, Ramadevi, Srikalyani, Dhanalakshmi, among others. Party workers Peddinti Krishna Chaitanya, Pemmaraju Sudhakar, Avantish Jain, Chegu Nageswara Rao, Manohar, Jitendra Gupta, Sanat Kumar, Suresh, Ramesh, and Chakravarthy also participated.
