Andhra Pradesh BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav welcomed the release of funds and extended his gratitude to the Union government for the timely disbursement. He said the State government would distribute the funds to the beneficiaries through the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development departments.

Mr. Madhav said the amounts would be credited directly to the bank accounts of the wage earners
