India Retain Top Spot in ICC Men's ODI Rankings with 118 Points

DUBAI, May 12:India maintained their supremacy in the International Cricket Council's men's One-Day International team rankings, holding on to the top position with 118 points in the revised annual rankings released on Monday.

New Zealand and Australia occupied the second and third positions with 113 and 109 points respectively, continuing to trail the defending champions by a comfortable margin.

In a notable shift in the middle order of the standings, South Africa climbed to fourth place with 102 points, displacing Pakistan, who slipped to fifth with 98 points. Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and England followed in sixth, seventh and eighth positions with 96, 93 and 89 points respectively.

India's retention of the top ranking reflects their consistent performances across bilateral ODI series over the past year and reinforces their standing as the dominant force in the fifty-over format ahead of the upcoming ICC events.
