Guntur : Bharatiya Janata Party Guntur District President Cherukuru Tirupati Rao and SC Morcha President Dr. Dara Ambedkar joined students at the Ambedkar Gurukula Vidyalayam in Guntur Rural mandal on Sunday to watch the 133rd episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio and television address, 'Mann Ki Baat — Manasulo Maata'.
Programme Instils Patriotism, Says BJP Leader
Speaking after the screening, Mr. Tirupati Rao said watching 'Mann Ki Baat' regularly helped nurture knowledge, patriotism, and a positive attitude towards nature among young students. He emphasised the crucial role of youth in nation-building and said programmes of this nature provided invaluable guidance to the next generation, helping them develop a deeper connection with the country's values and aspirations.
Quiz on Mann Ki Baat, Winners to Visit Parliament
Dr. Dara Ambedkar announced that a quiz competition based on the content of 'Mann Ki Baat' would be conducted for students in the near future. Those who performed well in the examination would be given a fully funded opportunity to visit prominent universities, the Parliament, and the Rashtrapati Bhavan across the country. He said the initiative was designed to deepen students' awareness of national institutions and strengthen their sense of civic belonging.
