End of the Red Corridor: BJP's PVN Madhav Hails Modi, Amit Shah for Decimating Naxalism
AMARAVATI, March 31: Andhra Pradesh BJP State President PVN Madhav on Tuesday extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for what he described as a historic achievement — the dismantling of the Red Corridor and the near-total eradication of Maoism from its erstwhile strongholds across India.
In a statement issued here, Madhav said that under the firm and resolute leadership of Prime Minister Modi, and driven by the unwavering determination of Home Minister Amit Shah at the helm of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the government had succeeded in uprooting Left Wing Extremism from regions that had long remained beyond the reach of mainstream governance and development.
He said that the areas once synonymous with fear, violence, and administrative paralysis were now witnessing the return of peace, stability, and sustained development — a transformation that he termed as nothing short of remarkable in independent India's internal security history.
Madhav praised Amit Shah's steely resolve in steering the anti-Naxal operations with strategic precision, adding that the Home Minister's consistent focus on the mission had delivered results that had eluded successive governments for decades.
The BJP State President concluded his statement with the rallying call — "Naxal Mukt Bharat" — voicing confidence that under the present dispensation, a Naxalism-free India was no longer a distant goal but an unfolding reality.
