BJP Holds Digital Strategy Training for Party Cadre in Vatticherukuru
Guntur, April 14: As part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's ongoing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan, a training programme focused on digital outreach and social media strategy was conducted in Vatticherukuru Mandal on Monday, with Y.V. Subbarao, State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha, providing key guidance to party cadre.
The programme was held at the Ananthavarappadu Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari Ammavari Kalyana Mandapam under the leadership of Mandal President Palem Pullarao, presided over by Velpuri Ramesh Babu, and conducted under the supervision of BJP District Training Convener Bhimineni Chandrasekhar.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Subbarao underlined that political competition had moved well beyond public meetings and rallies, extending firmly into the digital domain. "Social media platforms are not merely communication tools. They are powerful instruments that shape public opinion," he said, urging cadre to actively leverage platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube to disseminate the party's ideology and highlight the Central Government's development initiatives and welfare schemes.
He also stressed the importance of official digital platforms, including MyGov and the Saral App, as effective tools for managing party activities and delivering information directly to citizens.
Noting the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Subbarao called upon party cadre to familiarise themselves with AI-based tools for creating posters, videos, and messaging content, describing such technologies as essential to faster and more impactful communication.
He outlined several action points for cadre, including ensuring that every booth maintain at least one dedicated digital team, that every cadre member remain active on social media, and that cadre be equipped to counter misinformation promptly with verified information.
"Building public trust, strengthening engagement, and expanding the party's influence through social media are the primary responsibilities of every cadre member," he said, describing the training as having provided clear direction on digital politics and modern technological tools.
BJP District General Secretary Desu Satyanarayana, Market Yard Director Krishnareddy, and a large number of BJP leaders and party cadre attended the programme.
