AP Government Reshuffles IAS Officers, Key District Collectors Transferred

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government on Sunday carried out a major reshuffle of IAS officers, issuing transfer and posting orders affecting several key administrative positions across the state.

According to the orders, Kakinada District Collector Sagili Shan Mohan has been moved and appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board. In his place, Visakhapatnam Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad has been posted as the new Collector of Kakinada.

Alluri Sitarama Raju District Collector Dinesh Kumar has been transferred and will assume charge as Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). Nishantini, currently serving as Joint Collector in Konaseema district, has been promoted and posted as Collector of Alluri Sitarama Raju district.

In another key appointment, C.M. Saikant Varma has been posted as the new Collector of Guntur district, while Muttambaka Abhishek Kishore has been appointed as Collector of Visakhapatnam.

Tamim Ansariya has been given charge as Director of School Education.

The government also stated that, following the transfer of the Konaseema Collector, the Joint Collector will hold full additional charge of the district until further orders are issued.

The latest reshuffle is aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and ensuring effective governance across districts in Andhra Pradesh.
