Enthusiastic turnout for ‘Mann Ki Baat’ screening at VVIT

GUNTUR: The screening of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat at VVIT University, Namburu, on Sunday drew a large gathering of students and BJP functionaries.

BJP Andhra Pradesh president P.V.N. Madhav, who attended as the chief guest, said the monthly broadcast serves as a source of guidance for the youth by addressing diverse issues of national importance.

University Chancellor Vidyasagar observed that such programmes help foster a sense of national responsibility among students and said efforts would be made to hold them regularly on campus.

Mr. Madhav said India’s resilience amid global challenges reflects the Centre’s policy direction. Citing Operation Ganga, he noted that the evacuation of Indians from Ukraine demonstrated the country’s diplomatic capability.

He also referred to measures taken to manage fuel prices and highlighted initiatives in sectors such as semiconductors and rare earth minerals as part of the vision for a developed India by 2047. He called upon students to seize emerging opportunities and contribute to nation-building.

A quiz on Mann Ki Baat was conducted, and winners were presented certificates.

Guntur district BJP president Cherukuri Tirupati Rao said such initiatives enhance awareness among youth and strengthen their role in the nation’s development.

Among those present were V. Gangadhar, K. Pradeep, CH Kaushik, Harikrishna, Karthik Reddy, Ranjith, Sai Radhakrishna and others.
