AP BJP Chief PVN Madhav Seeks Measures to Address Sabarimala Pilgrims’ Issues
Amaravati, September 30, 2026 (Journalist File): Andhra Pradesh BJP president PVN Madhav submitted a representation to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu seeking measures to address the difficulties faced by Ayyappa devotees from the state travelling to Sabarimala.
Madhav urged the state government to ensure adequate facilities for pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh, particularly in areas including transportation, darshan arrangements and other essential services during the Sabarimala pilgrimage.
Pointing out that a large number of devotees from Andhra Pradesh travel to Sabarimala every year, Madhav requested the government to take special measures to make their journey safer and more convenient. He also proposed establishing a dedicated coordination mechanism involving the relevant authorities to identify and resolve pilgrims’ concerns.
Madhav said he had requested the Chief Minister to ensure that devotees travelling from Andhra Pradesh receive the necessary assistance and support from the state government during the pilgrimage.
