VISAKHAPATNAM, Sept. 10, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandukuri Durgesh congratulated Dr. M. Srijana Devi, a Visakhapatnam-based anesthesiologist and social worker, on winning the Forever Miss Universe India 2025 title at a national-level pageant in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Srijana Devi emerged victorious at the final event organized by Forever Star India (FSIA), overcoming competition from thousands of participants from across the country. Her achievement has brought recognition to Visakhapatnam and Andhra Pradesh, particularly as she combines her medical profession with social service and interests in modeling and fashion.
Srijana Devi met Minister Durgesh at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Visakhapatnam and sought his blessings. The minister felicitated her with a shawl and presented her with a bouquet, congratulating her on the national title and wishing her continued success.
“Dr. Srijana Devi has already made her mark as a doctor and social worker. Winning a national title in modeling and fashion is highly commendable,” Durgesh said. He said the achievements of women in diverse fields were a source of pride for the state and the country and expressed hope that Srijana Devi would earn further international recognition.
