AMARAVATI, Sept. 11, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday reviewed the implementation of its flagship “Super Six” welfare schemes, with officials presenting detailed progress figures at the second day of the eighth district collectors’ conference chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the state Secretariat.
The review focused on how the schemes were translating government promises into direct financial and social benefits for farmers, women, persons with disabilities, auto-rickshaw drivers, students and economically vulnerable families.
Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan
Under Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan, the government is providing financial support to eligible farmer families to meet agricultural investment and cultivation expenses. Each eligible family receives ₹20,000 a year through combined state and Central government assistance.
During 2025–26, 46.86 lakh farmer families received a total of ₹8,985.41 crore. For the 2026–27 kharif season, another ₹3,125.47 crore has been released to the same number of beneficiary families.
Stree Shakti
The Stree Shakti scheme, launched on August 15, 2025, provides free public bus travel to women and girls, with the stated objective of improving mobility and access to public transportation.
Officials said the scheme had so far recorded 918.877 million free journeys by women and girls, with the government bearing ₹3,267 crore in expenditure. An average of about 2.4 million women and girls travel free every day under the programme.
Divyang Shakti
The Divyang Shakti scheme provides free bus travel to persons with disabilities. Since its launch on March 18 this year, officials reported 7.531 million journeys by beneficiaries.
The government has borne ₹29 crore in subsidies under the scheme so far.
Auto Driver Sevalo
Under Auto Driver Sevalo, financial assistance is provided annually to eligible drivers of auto-rickshaws, motor cabs and maxi cabs.
In 2025–26, 290,669 eligible drivers received financial assistance totaling ₹436 crore, with each beneficiary receiving ₹15,000.
Deepam–2
The Deepam–2 scheme seeks to reduce the financial burden on households by providing cooking-gas subsidies to eligible women beneficiaries.
Officials said the government had released ₹3,942 crore in subsidies, benefiting approximately 11 million beneficiaries. The scheme is currently in its sixth phase.
Talliki Vandanam
The Talliki Vandanam programme is aimed at improving school enrolment, retention and equal educational opportunities. Under the scheme, every student studying from Class 1 through Class 12 is eligible for annual financial assistance of ₹15,000.
For 2026–27, the government has set a target of extending benefits worth ₹10,208.68 crore to 6.805 million students.
The detailed review at the collectors’ conference underscored the government’s emphasis on delivering the “Super Six” commitments through district-level administration and ensuring that the intended beneficiaries receive the benefits directly.
